For this week’s Monday Morning Mamas, I was inspired by some amazing Mamas who wrote wonderful and heartfelt posts about Dads. So today is all about Dad and I’m highlighting three fabulous bloggers who had important and loving messages about the Dads in their lives.
Sit back with your favorite cup of coffee and enjoy…it’s time for Monday Morning Mamas
Our first Mama is Melinda from Coming Clean: Confessions of an Imperfect Parent. She wrote a fantastic piece called The Funny Thing About Dads. I really love this post because she highlights how important it is to celebrate and be grateful for involved Dads everywhere. If you haven’t been to her blog before, go visit now…you will love her!
Our next Mama is an Empress and she runs a fabulous Kingdom over at Good Day Regular People. If you don’t know and love her already, please go check her out because she will have you hooked in no time. I still remember the beautiful post she wrote in honor of her husband for Father’s Day titled What the Boys Would be Like Without You, or An Extremely Belated Happy Father’s Day. I love this very personal post that takes a snake catching incident to another level, extolling the importance of Dad in their sons’ lives. I.Just.love.it.
Great choices!
Awww, thanks so much, Melissa! What a fabulous way to start the week!!

LOL! Great idea. I can't believe you didn't include my Painful Constipation post! I guess it's because the emphasis is on my husband being a husband and not a dad! Yeah…that must be it! http://littlebitquirky.blogspot.com/2010/08/painful-constipation.html

These are some of my favorites! Thanks for sharing them with everyone.

I remember The Empress' post, but I'll have to check out the other sites. Including Cheryl's painful constipation post. Sounds intriguing.

Great choices – Coming Clean is one of my new faves!
I am very lucky that my husband is a fantastic dad!!

I find myself writing a lot more about my dad than my mom. Both are wonderful, but it seems dads are around for more of the fun stuff. I have a post in my “best of big teeth” about our famous game of UNO. It's a classic.
I'm excited to read these! I love hearing about the dads!! I thought my husband was pretty fabulous before he was a dad. Now he absolutely blows me away. Dads are the best!

I love that you feature other moms, what an awesome idea to drive traffic to them as well as keep people coming back to yours, like me
I posted one for Father's Day this year, I'd love to share. Off to read all these posts!

Thank you so much. So very much. What an honor that I was able to touch you with that post. What a blessing to me to be able to do that.
I apologize I wasn't around yesterday, big day with the kids. BIG DAY: BIG FUN.
This post was important to me, b/c my father passed away when I was in the first grade. And I still feel the hole today.
I hear people say, “you don't need a dad.” and I always think, “yeah, I bet you grew up with one, didn't you?”
Because if you grow up without one? Guess what. It stays with you forever.
Of course, we can't help whether or not we have a dad, and some fathers are not suited for the role, but, ideally: a father present is what this little girl would wish for.

Oh, I have to check out these wonderful posts about dads (and keep them hidden from my husband who may be upset that I haven't written enough about him yet-lol).
