I sometimes find myself a bit tardy, but three days? Now that is kind of pushing it. I was over at Nichole’s from In These Small Moments on Monday. In my flu induced stupor, I forgot to tell you about it. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve been hit this hard by the flu in years. Luckily, today I am back in the land of the living and my head is starting to clear.
If you don’t already know Nichole, then you must visit her blog. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and yes, I have had the honor of not only meeting her in person but also having a play date with her and her beautiful children.
She is just as lovely and sweet in person as she comes across in her writing. Authentic.
She has a weekly feature called Small Moments Mondays in which she shares another blogger’s “small moment”. These posts are always touching and beautifully written and I was so honored that she accepted the post I submitted to her. I had written about the moment I realized my unborn daughter was already the luckiest girl in the world and when I was done, I had no idea what to do with it…until I met Nichole.
I knew that I had possibly found a place to share this moment and luckily she felt the same way.
While you’re there please stay awhile and enjoy her writing. Her posts will literally take your breath away at times. I don’t know how she does it but she captures those small moments with such heart, honesty, and beauty.
Most recently, she wrote this about five minutes of her life she would like her children to see through her eyes. It is simply beautiful.
So if you get a chance, please give her a visit and take a look around. Check out her posts that have been syndicated on BlogHer and follow her on twitter. You will be glad you did!
Nichole is an amazing writer. I find myself tearing up way more than I'd like after reading her posts.
I hope you feel better soon!

Glad you're on the mend!
So glad you're feeling better! Your small moment was lovely as is this intro to Nichole post. Warm and mushy over here…
Glad you are feeling better! I loved your small moment at Nichole's place!
Colds are so damned nasty.
Not to worry.
We're a patient bunch. 😉
Yes, In These small moments is a great blog. I've recently discovered yours and I subscribed via rss. Your post at Nichole's blog was great. It made me proud to have such a husband too.
You know, this is the nicest thing to do. Rather than just say, visit me here, you do such a nice intro to Nichole.
Very classy.
Glad you're feeling better!
That was such a touching post! Your husband is obviously a sentimental guy & I bet a great dad! Mom & daughter are doubly lucky!
Kudos on that feature. And I hope you are feeling better.
