Dr.Mom’s 3 days of the Top 5 in Video, Print, and Blog

Day 1: Top 5 in video

As 2011 comes to a close, I sit here reflecting on what an incredible year it’s been for this little ‘ol blog of mine.

I’m incredibly grateful for opportunities I’ve been presented with as a direct result of writing about motherhood, parenting, and children’s health…right here on Confessions of a Dr.Mom.

This has clearly become my passion and I’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spread my Dr.Mom wings and reach a wider audience in order to advocate for children and parents.

So, the next three days I will be doing a countdown of Dr.Mom’s Top 5 in video, print, and blog.

Today, I’m starting with my Top 5 in video. Since this past summer, I’ve had the amazing privilege of coming in weekly to KCRA and speaking with the wonderful Deirdre Fitzpatrick to discuss pressing parenting or pediatric health topics. I absolutely love doing this. It’s a great way to give parents and caregivers the nuts and bolts of any particular topic.

So, in no particular order, I’ve chosen 5 which have either received the most views, comments, tweets, shares…in other words…I think they were (hopefully) really helpful to you! And, wow, yes I know I look really scary in that first still shot. Try to get past it…please.

I just came across your site, and I wanted to introduce myself.

I’m Noah’s Dad and my wife is a pediatrician. We are creating an online story of his life by uploading a daily one minute video. (http://noahsdad.com) Our goal is to give the window a world into what life is like raising a child born with Down syndrome. It’s been a ton of fun.

    Looking forward to staying connected!
